MHRA is an acronym for the
Multi-Hull Racing Association.
MHRA hosts events in northern
California, northwestern Nevada,
and southern Oregon. All multihulls
are welcome at MHRA regattas,
regardless of brand-name, color,or
creed. Separate starts are provided
for classes (five boats or more)
and mixed multihulls use Portsmouth ratings.

membership formFull membership in MHRA entitles you to be accumulate series points for one of the overall trophies, makes you eligible for the "Sailor of the Year" perpetual trophy, and allows you to vote for MHRA officers and on club policies. MHRA collects member dues and regatta fees in order to provide quality multihull racing. Almost all of the money is directed into staging the regattas and paying for regatta insurace. Meetings are generally held at regattas; there is an end-of-the-year awards dinner. Membership for an individual or family costs $35 per year. Associate membership costs $15 per year. Associate members do not accumulate series points and cannot vote, but are included in club correspondence, including meeting minutes and financial reports.
